StreamPal Connect
Links your OBS to your StreamPal dashboard and phone stream deck. It finds OBS automatically and connects outbound, so there's nothing to port-forward.
On the PC running OBS, open a terminal and run:

- 1. Open StreamPal Connect.
- 2. Paste your pair code from Dashboard → OBS.
- 3. It detects OBS and connects. That's it.

Questions
Do I need Streampal Connect to use Streampal?+
No. Multistreaming, clipping, tips and TTS all work without it. Connect is only needed to control a local copy of OBS from your dashboard or phone.
Which operating systems are supported?+
Windows and macOS, either as a desktop app or the one-line npx command if you already have Node.js installed.
Does it need OBS websocket set up?+
OBS 28 and later ship with websocket built in, so there is nothing extra to install. Connect finds it automatically.
Is it safe to leave running?+
Yes. It makes an outbound connection to Streampal and accepts no inbound connections, so it opens no ports on your machine. Close it any time to disconnect.
What if I do not want to install anything?+
Use the LIVE IRL Toolkit instead. It runs a cloud OBS machine that is yours alone, controlled entirely from the browser with nothing installed locally.
