Streampal vs IRLToolkit

IRLToolkit is a cloud OBS service built for IRL streamers. You send your phone or encoder feed to a server it hosts, and OBS there runs your scenes, the BRB screen when the feed drops, and the broadcast.

The honest version

IRLToolkit has done cloud OBS for IRL for a long time, and its Twitch chat bot, with bitrate checks and scene commands from chat, is something Streampal does not have yet. Streampal is the better fit when you run more than one camera without asking support for it, or want tips, alerts and clipping in the same account as the server.

Where Streampal fits better

  • →IRL streamers who run two or three phones and want each one in the dashboard rather than by request
  • →Streamers who want tips, paid TTS and go-live alerts next to their cloud OBS
  • →Anyone who also wants to earn from clipping, or to get their own streams clipped

Questions people ask

Is Streampal's LIVE Toolkit a cloud OBS like IRLToolkit?
Yes. Each member gets their own OBS machine in the cloud, fed from a phone or encoder over SRT, SRTLA or RTMP, and run from a browser or the virtual stream deck.
Can I use more than one camera?
Yes. Pro takes up to three phones at once, each with its own feed in the dashboard. IRLToolkit adds extra ingests on request.
What happens when my connection drops?
The toolkit cuts to your BRB screen when the feed drops or turns choppy, and comes back when it recovers. On Pro, a second phone that is still steady goes on air instead of BRB. Either way it can send an alert to your phone.
Does Streampal have a Twitch chat bot like IRLToolkit's?
Not yet. IRLToolkit's bot runs bitrate checks and scene commands from Twitch chat. On Streampal you switch scenes from the virtual stream deck on your phone.
